Saipos
Saipos is a management system for restaurants, bars and delivery operations, with ordering, point of sale, inventory, financial and tax issuance features.
The integration with Falaê consults the store's sales data on Saipos to register customers, register and update their purchase records and send the satisfaction survey through the channels configured in Falaê. To connect the store, you need a Saipos Data API token and a survey registered with Falaê.
Before you start
- Access the Integrations screen in Falaê with a profile authorized to configure the integration. The Cashier profile cannot perform this configuration.
- Have a survey registered with the company or branch that will be integrated.
- Request a Data API token from Saipos with access only to the store you want to connect.
- To send the surveys, keep at least one sending channel configured and enabled in Falaê: email, WhatsApp or SMS.
Access to the Data API is subject to an additional charge by Saipos. Check the contracting conditions and who will be responsible for payment in official Data API documentation.
How to configure the integration
1. Request the token from Saipos
- Open the Data API token request form indicated in the official Saipos documentation.
- Fill out the request for the store that will be integrated with Falaê and request exclusive access to that store's data.
- Wait for the token to be released by Saipos. The documentation states a return within up to one business day, via email.
- Have the token received on hand to complete the configuration in Falaê.
The Falaê Token field receives the key provided by Saipos to query the Data API. If you already have a key for another integration, confirm with Saipos that it corresponds to this access and the correct store.
2. Configure Saipos in Falaê
- Access the Integrations screen in Falaê.
- In the Search integration field, search for Saipos and open the integration card, in the POS category.
- If you manage a chain of stores, find the desired branch in the list and open its configuration.
- In the Token field, paste the Data API token received from Saipos for that store.
- In the Survey field, select the satisfaction survey you want to link. The list only shows surveys from the selected company or branch.
- Click Configure integration and wait for confirmation.
- Check that the screen displays Integration configured.
The Configure integration button is disabled while either the token or the survey is missing. If the company does not have any surveys registered, create a survey and reopen the configuration.
3. Check import and sending
- Track a recent, non-cancelled sale registered on Saipos with the customer's valid name and telephone number. To check sending by email, the customer must also have an email address provided in the sale.
- Wait for Falaê to automatically query the data.
- Check on Falaê whether the customer was registered or located and whether the purchase record was registered with the sale value.
- Check receipt of the survey via the channel enabled for the company or branch.
Confirmation of the configuration indicates that the token and survey were registered in Falaê. The import and sending check confirms that the flow with store data works.
How integration works
- Sales and customer data are recorded in the Saipos system.
- With the integration enabled, Falaê periodically consults the Saipos Data API, using the informed token. Each query searches for sales whose last update on Saipos occurred between 72 and 4 hours before the query.
- Falaê checks whether the sale already has a purchase record in the configured company or branch. If it already exists, it updates the value, date and validity of the same purchase record, according to Saipos data, without duplicating the record or resending the survey. This update happens even when the sale returns without the customer's phone number.
- For a sale that has not yet been imported, has not been canceled and has the customer's telephone number, Falaê registers or locates the customer using available data, such as name, telephone number and email. It then records the purchase record, with the total value and date of sale, linked to the customer and the configured company or branch.
- When registering this new purchase record, depending on the sending options enabled, Falaê forwards the survey via email, WhatsApp or SMS. Sending by email also depends on the customer having this contact.
- The customer accesses the survey received and responds about their experience.
If a sale is canceled on Saipos, the purchase record already registered on Falaê is marked as invalid, preserving the history. A sale that has already been canceled before the first import does not generate a purchase record or send a survey.
The query window allows you to retrieve changes and sales made available late. In periods of greater processing, Saipos informs that the data may only be available on the next day (D+1), a delay covered by the 72-hour window. The import depends on the data being available in the API and within the period consulted. See Saipos guidance on updating data.
Sales updated less than 4 hours ago are not yet included in the query. Wait for the following queries to check the import or update the purchase record.
Questions and maintenance
No surveys are available to select. What should I do?
Create a survey in the company or branch you are setting up and reopen the integration. Surveys from other branches do not appear in this selection.
Can I connect more than one branch?
Yes. Configure each branch separately in Falaê, using a token restricted to the corresponding store and a survey from that branch.
Saipos also provides tokens with access to multiple stores, but for this configuration flow, use one token per store. The Data API does not offer filtering by store; a store chain token can return sales from multiple branches in the same query. Check out the official guidance on tokens and stores.
Does the customer need to have a telephone at Saipos?
To import a sale for the first time and register or locate the customer, yes, even when the channel chosen to send the survey is email. Keep the customer registration filled out on Saipos with the contacts you want to use.
To update or invalidate an already registered purchase record, the telephone is not required. Falaê recognizes the sale by its number in the same company or branch and updates the record without resending the survey.
The purchase record appears, but the survey does not arrive. What to check?
Check if the desired channel is configured and enabled in Falaê for that company or branch. Also check that the telephone number is correct and, when sending by email, that this contact has been informed at Saipos. Integration setup does not automatically enable sending channels.
If the problem continues, ask Falaê support for help, informing the branch, the sales number and the date it was registered.
I set up the integration, but no sales appear. What to check?
Confirm that the token is from the Data API, that it is released and that it corresponds to the configured store. For the first import, check whether there are sales that have not been canceled with the customer's phone number. Consider the possible delay in data being made available by Saipos and wait for a query where the last sale update is at least 4 hours old and within the 72 hour window.
If the token has been canceled or the store is canceled on Saipos, the query may no longer provide the expected data. To check access or request a new key, contact Saipos support for partners. To investigate the import on Falaê, inform support of the branch and the sales period that did not appear.
Does the configuration import the entire sales history?
The configuration enables automatic queries based on the date of the last sale update on Saipos, within a window of 72 to 4 hours prior to each query. A sale created longer ago may enter the flow if it was updated within that period. The configuration does not represent a request to import the entire store history. If you need to recover a previous period, consult Falaê support about the possibility of importing.
How to exchange the linked token or survey?
Open branch configuration, click Cancel Integration and configure again with the desired token and survey. To replace a canceled key, wait for Saipos to release the new token before making the new configuration.
How to disconnect the integration?
- Access Integrations in Falaê and open Saipos.
- If you manage a chain of stores, open the configuration of the branch you want to disconnect.
- Click on Cancel integration and wait for the message Integration disconnected successfully.
Canceling disables the branch's integration into Falaê and removes the credentials and link to the survey used in this flow.
To revoke the access key or terminate the Data API contract at Saipos, request cancellation directly to Saipos using the token cancellation form. Disconnecting from Falaê does not cancel the token or the Saipos charge.
If the cancel button is disabled due to lack of permission, ask an administrator for permission to view integrations. The Cashier profile cannot cancel integrations.
